Research Associate, Cambridge University, with a civil engineering background. His research focuses on the design processes in construction, making better use of materials in construction and the role of material efficiency in building conception. Michal holds M.Sc. Eng. with PhD in concrete technology from SUT Gliwice, Poland.

He has written widely on design management and architectural technology, with a particular interest in improving performance of design teams (process efficiency) and buildings (product functionality).

Senior Lecturer in Construction Project Management, University of Bath. His research interests revolve around the relationship between project complexity, project management methodologies and the management of resources pertaining to integrated delivery in project environments.

 

Professor tim ibell

Professor of Civil Engineering, University of Bath. Research interests in realistic structural strength assessment, innovative retrofit procedures and fabric-formed concrete structures, for which he has won six best research journal paper awards from the Institutions of Structural Engineers and Civil Engineers, and a further four best conference-paper awards.
